Pre-Dawn Brekkie with Hsing-Ju
 
  Hsing-Ju (Sunny) called yesterday to say that she'll be working overnight near my place and asked if I woke up early enough to meet for brekkie at Minto Macca's at 6 a.m. Now, I am not an early morning person at the best of times because my normal bed time is around 3 a.m. But, I decided to make an exception and asked her to come around for brekkie. This is a rare occasion that I breakfast before dawn (sunrise at 7 a.m. today).

Hsing-Ju was one of my former university students in Sydney. I first met her when she was an international student in a BSc course and she had chosen to do my Industrial Microbiology subject as a final year elective in 1997 (see here). Prior to earlier this year, we hadn't met since 2007.
