Clem's Home-Grown MD2 Pineapple
The MD2 pineapple is
produced for its higher sweetness and lower acidity. It has a
golden color skin when ripe with yellow fruit tissue which is
lower in fibre than other cultivars. It also has a higher
Vitamin C than the other pineapples popularly grown. However,
the MD2 is a much smaller pineapple (and usually rounder) than
other cultivars.
