Sate
Kajang comes to Kuching (Metrocity in Matang)
Beef and
lamb sate Kajang
RM1.40 per stick.
Taste is reminiscent of the real McCoy.
The satay tends to
be spelt sate in Peninsula Malaysia. The said reason for
this is because it is the spelling form used at where (in Java
Indonesia), satay (the English and modern Malayu
spelling) and the people whose cuisine it is, originate.
Kajang is a town near Kuala
Lumpur which is famed for its form satay/sate.
Reachable via the MRT (45 minute ride), many travel to Kajang to
dine on the sate offered by many purveyors there (see
sate Kajang entry
here).
