During my consultancy assignment in Edinburgh (27 June - 09 July 2022), I stayed at this hotel.
 

I arrived around 11 pm. It was just after sunset.
In the northern reaches of the British Isles, the light fades late in the summer.

Above the road at the horizon, you can make out Edinburgh castle perched on castle krag.
