Wagha border crossing

Flag lowering ceremony performed with much aplomb by the Pakistan Rangers. The Rangers are an elite unit who guard the border with India.
Beside the gate painted in the tricolor of India, one can see a mirror image of the same ceremony being performed by the Indian guard.
The border is in between the two soldiers holding onto flag halyards.

With a corporal of the Rangers. Note his height and headgear. They are chosen for their exceptional height so that when they stand
next to the Indian border guards they are not dwarfed. This is a manifestation of Indian-Pakistani rivalry in its more innocuous form.
