Hotel by the Melinau River

airport overfly this, the only hotel servicing visitors to Gunung Mulu National
Park. The Melinau River beside the hotel flows from picture top
to bottom. The buildings around the quadrangle are service areas while
the accommodation blocks can be seen amongst the trees along the river
front, continuing around the top right hand corner of the picture, the
right, down to the bottom of the picture and finally back to the service
area. The block that my room was in is hidden behind trees to the left
of the pond on the top right hand corner of the picture. 27 May 05 |
