Tod mun means "deep fried" in the Thai language. "Pla" means fish.
We know this dish as Thai fish cakes.


I made this batch with fish paste produced in a food blender; and added red curry powder; sliced: long beans, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, garlic, and small red onions. No water was added.
